Easey Peasey Creamed Peas

- 1 15 oz. can sweet peas
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup milk plus additional milk
- Drain peas and put in small sauce pan. Add butter and just cover peas with milk. Cook only to boiling, simmer. Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup milk in small bowl. Add to peas, cook until thick. Enjoy. Can be doubled.
I have always fixed these for my children. Now they are fixing them for my grandchildren. A family favorite for over 40 years, easy peasey! ~ Penny Swanson
