The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) 2014 Annual Meeting allows professionals to learn more about today’s issues from industry experts. General Manager Jim Thompson and Directors Bob Willis and John Kestner represented Adams Electric by taking part in NRECA’s 72nd Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting sets the course for electric cooperatives for the year ahead as member cooperatives vote on resolutions during the business meeting.
Directors Jim Benz and Becky Barlow attended the 2014 Directors Conference. National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s CEO Jo Ann Emerson was among several key speakers. Emerson led an interactive discussion to share ideas on innovative leadership to improve the cooperative and benefit members.
Treasurer Bob Willis attended the 2014 CoBank Central Customer Meeting to hear from leading experts on the economy, public policy, cyber security, and business leadership.
