Baked Beef Stew

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. beef stew meat do not brown
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Tapioca
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 3 med. carrots chopped
  • 1 med. onion diced
  • 1 slice white bread broken into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tsp. beef bouilion
  • 1 cup peas drained

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients (except peas)
    together. Cover and bake for 3 hours at 325 degrees. Don’t remove cover or stir. When done, add peas. Beef broth can be used instead of water for added flavor (reduce bouilion to 1 tsp.).
