Baked Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beef stew meat do not brown
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. Tapioca
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 3 med. carrots chopped
- 1 med. onion diced
- 1 slice white bread broken into pieces
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tsp. beef bouilion
- 1 cup peas drained
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients (except peas)together. Cover and bake for 3 hours at 325 degrees. Don’t remove cover or stir. When done, add peas. Beef broth can be used instead of water for added flavor (reduce bouilion to 1 tsp.).
