Banana Coffee Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (about 3) mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Beat cheese, butter & 1 1/4 cups sugar. Add eggs (one at a time). Add bananas and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda. Combine pecans, 2 Tbsp. sugar, and cinnamon; add half of topping to batter. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 pan. Sprinkle remaining half of topping on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Note: Very good! Stays moist.
