- 2 1/2 lb. chuck roast
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 roll chili con carne without beans
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 med. green pepper diced in small pieces
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- Cook in crockpot (on high 4-5 hours or on low 8-9 hours). Pick cooked meat off bone. Should have 2 1/2 cups meat (or more). Add remaining ingredients. Simmer and stir occasionally for 30 minutes. Can be adapted for a pressure cooker.
