Caramel Apple Pecan Pie


  • 6 cups sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup flour divided
  • 1/2 tsp. salt divided
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel apple dip thinned with 4 Tbsp. milk, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar


  • Mix together apples, sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and cinnamon and let set so apples can wilt down. Put apple mixture into a deep dish pastry lined pie pan. Sprinkle with pecans. Drizzle over apples half of the thinned caramel apple dip. Mix 1 cup flour, butter, brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. salt for crumb topping until crumbly. Pile on top of apples. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake another 30 minutes or until apples are done and topping is browned. Cool 10 minutes then drizzle over the top remaining thinned caramel apple dip.
