Cherry Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cherries in juice
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • Dash of salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients. Add cherries and a little juice, eggs, and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in 9 inch square pan. Top with whipped cream.
