Chicken Rice Bake


  • 10-12 pcs. chicken
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Butter


  • Dip chicken in melted butter and set aside. Mix next five ingredients and pour into buttered 8x12 baking dish. Place buttered chicken pieces on top of rice mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake uncovered at 300° for 2 hours. It is not necessary to turn chicken.
