
IEC Memorial Scholarship Program – 17 SCHOLARSHIPS
Looking for a way to help pay for college? Consider a Thomas A. Moore IEC Memorial Scholarship. Sixteen general scholarships are specific for Illinois high school seniors who are the son or daughter of a cooperative member, employee or director. The lineworker scholarship is also open to an individual serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard or enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school (more details on the application links below). The seventeen scholarships will be awarded through the Illinois Electric Cooperative (IEC) Memorial Scholarship Program. Each scholarship is worth $2,000.00.
General College Scholarships
• 10 scholarships are available for the sons/daughters of Illinois cooperative members for any two or four year accredited college in the United States.
• 1 scholarship, the Earl W. Struck Memorial Scholarship, is reserved for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative employee/director for any school in the United States.
• 5 scholarships available for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative member, employee, or director for an Illinois community college.

Lineworker School Scholarship
• 1 scholarship is reserved for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative member, employee or director, an individual who has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard, or an individual enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school. This scholarship will help pay for costs to attend lineworker’s school conducted by AIEC in conjuction with Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL.
