2027 IEC Memorial Scholarship Program
20 – $3,000 SCHOLARSHIPS (19 general scholarships and 1 lineworker scholarship)
Looking for a way to help pay for college? Consider a Thomas A. Moore IEC Memorial Scholarship. Sixteen general scholarships are specific for Illinois high school seniors who are the son or daughter of a cooperative member, employee or director. The lineworker scholarship is also open to an individual serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard or enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school (more details on the application links below). The seventeen scholarships will be awarded through the Illinois Electric Cooperative (IEC) Memorial Scholarship Program. Each scholarship is worth $3,000.00.
The deadline for the General Scholarships is December 31, 2026. Winners will be announced in the spring.
The deadline for the LaVern and Nola McEntire Scholarship is: April 30, 2027.
