Easy Cabbage Rolls


  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese or about 6 slices of swiss cheese


  • Chop cabbage into big chucks and layer in bottom of crockpot. Form hamburger into meatballs and layer on top of cabbage. Sprinkle with onions. Combine tomato sauce, dill weed, pepper, and rice. Pour over layers in crockpot. Sprinkle swiss cheese over the top. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
