Fruit Cobbler


  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2-3 cups fruit


  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt with milk to a smooth batter. Place stick of butter in 9x12 baking dish and place in oven to melt. Put fruit in pan and heat to a boil. Pour batter mix over melted butter in baking dish. Pour fruit over batter. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Batter will rise as it bakes.
