Heavenly Hash Cake


  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 large angel food cake mix


  • Melt chocolate chips over low heat. Beat egg yolks and add to chocolate. Beat egg whites and add sugar. Add egg whites to chocolate mixture. Stir and add pecans, vanilla and salt. Whip cream and fold in last. Break angel food cake into chunks and cover bottom of deep bowl. Cover with layer of chocolate mixture; add another layer of cake pieces and cover with chocolate mixture. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
