Jiffy Apple Crisp


  • 5 cups sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup butter


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, blend sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add sliced apples, lemon juice and water. Stir and place in 8x11 greased baking dish. In a separate bowl, blend butter and cake mix until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle dry mixture over apples. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
