Layered Ribbon Gelatin

  • 2 3 oz. pkgs. red (cherry or strawberry) Jello
  • 2 3 oz. pkgs. lime Jello
  • 2 3 oz. pkgs. lemon Jello
  • 2 3 oz. pkgs. orange Jello
  • Boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • Whipped cream topping


  • Mix 1 cup + 4 teaspoons boiling water with one of the packages of red Jello. Pour into a 9x13 pan. Place in freezer for 20 minutes. Mix 1 cup boiling water with the remaining package of red Jello and stir in 6 tablespoons sour cream. Pour this mixture over the set first layer and return to freezer for another 20 minutes. Repeat these steps with each flavor of Jello. Top with a layer of whipped cream topping.
