Manhattan Meatballs


  • 2 lbs. ground beef or pork
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 18 oz. jar peach preserves
  • 18 oz. bottle barbecue sauce


  • Mix meat, onion and bread crumbs well. Shape into meatballs and brown in skillet. Place meatballs in casserole. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce. Pour over meatballs. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Apricot preserves may be used also.
