Marian's Earthquake Cake


  • 1 German chocolate cake mix mix as directed
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or more
  • 2 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick oleo


  • Put coconut and nuts in bottom of 9x13 pan. Mix cake and pour over coconut and nuts. Mix remaining ingredients and put on top of cake mixture in globs. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool, flip over when serving and enjoy!
