Meat Balls
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 1/4 cup oatmeal
- 2 eggs
- Salt & Pepper
- Flour
- 1 onion
- 1-2 green peppers
- 1 qt. whole tomatoes may use canned
- 1/8 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix hamburger, oatmeal, eggs, salt and pepper. Form into balls. Roll in flour and brown in a little fat. Sprinkle in a small amount of extra flour. cut up an onion and a green pepper or two into the fat. Fry until soft. Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, vinegar, and brown sugar. Bake in low oven for 1 hour.
