Pecan Pie Bars


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Dash salt
  • 1 cup pecans chopped


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Spray 9x13 pan lightly with cooking spray. Press mixture into pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Combine and blend well first five remaining ingredients. Stir in pecans. Spread over top. Reduce oven temperature to 270 degrees. Bake for 50 minutes (or more if needed). Enjoy.
