Raspberry Bars


  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup oleo
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar raspberry preserves


  • Grease 8” square baking dish. Combine all ingredients except preserves. Beat at low speed until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 cup crumb mixture. Set aside. Press remaining crumb mixture into greased baking dish. Spread preserves to within 1/2” of edge of unbaked crumb mixture. Crumble remaining mixture over preserves. Bake for approx. 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars.
