Shrimp Creole

Ingredients
- 1 lg. onion minced
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 to 2 cans water
- Pinch of thyme
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 lbs. shrimp cleaned & deveined
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in garlic and green pepper for 2 minutes. Add flour. Add tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
