Strawberry Rhubarb Cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup sour milk
- 1 1/2 cups fresh rhubarb chopped
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Mix well. Fold in rhubarb, strawberries and pecans. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until browned and toothpick comes out clean. Ovens vary. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream. *To sour milk, add 2 tsp. vinegar to milk.
