Strawberry Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh rhubarb chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Mix well. Fold in rhubarb, strawberries and pecans. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until browned and toothpick comes out clean. Ovens vary. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream. *To sour milk, add 2 tsp. vinegar to milk.
