
Toffee Malted Cookies - 1st Place in the 2021 Holiday Cookie Recipe Contest

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. 3.4 oz. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup malted milk balls chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips
Instructions
- Cream butter & sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add pudding mix & vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda & salt; add to creamed mixture. Fold in malted milk balls and toffee bits. The dough will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Let cool on sheets for 2-5 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool.
